September?

Let's knock out September.  We will start off with the lovely song-pyun (traditional rice cakes) made by Ri at her Korean pre-school.  They were pretty tasty, too.  It was for Chuseok celebration.
Tay had a Chuseok party at her school, so we wore our hanboks (Korean traditional attire).  I joined her for her lunch celebration at the school.  So many folks brought so much yummy food.
Tay also went to a Frozen-themed birthday party for one of her classmates.  This was one of the competitions - to make a toilet paper Olaf...hehehe...
Trying on some sun hats...she never keeps them on, though.
We took a visit to the zoo/Children's Grand Park.
Loving on the polar bears.
Cool kid.
Getting ready to go to Chuseok celebration at the eldest brother of my dad's home.
Hanging with the cousins.
More soccer play outside...
Peek-a-boo!
Tay's brainstorming page of possible Halloween costumes...look at the salt and pepper shaker...
Sleepy buddies.
Glorious rays of the sun...beautiful.
Spending some time on the playground...how I miss warmer weather.
Not sure why I like this picture so much, even if it's blurry...just the look of surprise on her face as she browses a book and plays on her own...and the headband.
Tay lost her third tooth this month!
Just an adorable pose Ri is striking in ballet class.
Road trip time...
I love sleepy babies...
Cool kid.
We made it.  We are in Daejeon...waiting for the rest of the group to arrive.
Visiting our grandparents' gravesite at the National Cemetery in Daejeon.
September was also Ri's 4th birthday! This is the morning of her birthday with her birthday crown made at her preschool.
Her birthday breakfast.
The birthday girl.  Happy fourth birthday, sweet girl. :)
Her birthday treasures.
That evening, putting her babies to bed - she named them Ashley and Adam. She thought she should read them a story - The Cat in the Hat Comes Back.
I also participated in my first Saints Doll Exchange - I painted Saint Francis.
This was actually at the exchange - beautiful little Saints all painted by loving hands. What a lovely experience. :)
I guess I made a flat apple pie in September. I'm sure it was delicious. It's one of my favorite Pioneer Woman recipes - the recipe is actually not on her website, but it's in her book...it's so simple and delicious.
Um...not sure what was going on here...perhaps an over-tired toddler.
Bothering Unni when she was doing homework...and got caught.
Off to her first soccer practice.
Pig tails.
She LOVED soccer season...her first year playing soccer as part of the Grizzlies...her first game!
Bath time continues to be a favorite activity.
Ri is learning how to write her name...but like her sister before her, she writes a lot of things in mirror image.  Isn't in so interesting?
I guess that's the last photo I have from September...strange.  Anyhow, only a few more months to go before I'm finally caught up.  Thanks for your patience.
