The Rest of April - in Bristol!

I know this is very very late, but I think I'm finally getting my head screwed on properly since I thought I lost it for a while with all this moving and getting back to work.  We'll see how much I can get caught up so we can still have a good/amusing record for our kids to read up on their childhood...right?

On with the narrative.

We made it to Bristol!  I'm not sure why this photo is the first that loaded for this post, but I can roll with it.  We introduced the potty to the littlest just to get her comfortable with it as we did with the other two.  She seemed to like it enough and would sit on it whenever I took her with me to the bathroom.  Other times, she would just...well...do as pictured.  ::sigh::
The first week we were in Bristol, guess what happened?  It SNOWED.  Good grief.  Thankfully, I had some cold weather gear for the girls so we didn't freeze for the few days it was bad weather.
I'm sorry for the complete disorganization of these photos, but I think when I upload the pics, they do not get uploaded in the order they were taken.  I'm sure I could go through and sort it myself, but it would just take too long...so please bear with me.  Here is Rea practicing on mastering her "toddling" with the help of a walker.
The girls spent a lot of time reading because we went to the library almost twice a week to get new books.  Tay also did a lot of reading to her sister and really increased her reading skills.  I found that leaving books in the car that she can read is the perfect way to get her to do it on her own because if you're stuck in the back of the car with nothing to do, the book seems very entertaining.
The girls spent a lot of time together and got pretty silly...
Love these girls.
At the library.  The children's section in the Bristol Public Library is so AWESOME.  We spent so much time there browsing books and playing with the puzzles and toys they had there.
There were also many trips to this place...Sweet Frog...the best frozen yogurt in town!
YUM!
While we were in town, I picked up a book series for the girls called The Never Girls and it's about four girls that find themselves in Neverland and their adventures learning about the fairies of Pixie Hollow.  We got through book six by the time we left Bristol.  It was pretty interesting...interesting enough that I sometimes would read through the book even after the girls fell asleep.  Since we were reading those books and we watched "The Pirate Fairy," the girls were obsessed with fairies.  Tay made her own set of paper fairies.  This one is Tinkerbell:
The girls also made themselves fairy wings out of paper.  This one is the one Ri drew herself and she asked me to cut it out and stick it on her back.
The "wings" were transferred to new shirts the next day (with fresh tape)...
I'm not sure what happened to Ri's "wings," but they both had a blast flitting around the house.
Ah, a fun visit to Books A Million resulted in these photos:
When we got home, baby wanted in on the fun, too, so she tried on her winter hat.
I just like this series of photos...baby is watching her sister intently, I think...then I call her name.
She looks at me with a "What?" expression on her face...but when she sees that I'm holding up the camera, she instantly goes into a...
GRIN.  Silly grin.
Modeling is such a huge thing for babies when they are developing at such a fast rate.  Because she kept seeing her sisters reading, whenever she sees a book, she loves opening it and pretending like she is reading it.  Hope this means she will be an avid reader in the future!
Guess where we are again?
Sweet Frog!
And guess who I ran into that night?  My Kindergarten teacher!
Speaking of teachers, I got to see my 4th grade teacher during this visit to Bristol, too!
Lots of ice cream was eaten during this trip.
And many messes were made.  Happy messes.
Someone has been watching Harabuji walk around too much...she started walking around with her hands behind her back.
Ah...sleeping babies are just so sweet.
Oh, we celebrated Easter while we were here!  Girls got to get all dressed up...(we were just trying on dresses on this day).
We also tried on some Hanboks while we were dressing up anyway...
We did some egg dying.
Eggs for the hunt filled with candy!
Look who's super excited about her Easter basket!
Loving her "baby."
Ready for the egg hunt.
Hunting eggs!
Baby realized there was candy in the eggs.
Lovely.
Silliness on Easter morning!
Walking the track in our Easter best.
Someone is a little noisy...in church.
Easter photo...just wish Jeff were in the photo, too!
We had a lot of fun in the back yard....
The girls and Jeff camped out one night...in a tent.  The temp dropped to 48F that night, so they were freezing, but they had a great time.
Prepping the dinner packets to go on the fire.
Daddy, the best campfire chef.
Yummy!
Trying out the tent...
Oops.  This is out of order.  This pic should come first since they are setting up the tent here.
S'mores time!
Someone even got to enjoy just some graham cracker.
After all the outdoor excitement, baby had to go in for her bath. Squeaky clean babies are so adorable.
Especially when they have a comb over.
Putting on her own lotion...
Roasting marshmallows.
Dinner cooking.  Again, these photos are out of order...
The adult meal.  So good.
Good morning!  They didn't want to get out of the tent!
Lots of time spent outdoors...so great for the girls...and for my soul.
Crawdad catching time!
Geese watching...see the wee goslings in between the two big geese?
OK!  I think we are caught up on April.  Now to work on May...June...and we are already at the end of July?!  So much...hopefully with more regularity, I can get caught up and stay caught up.

By the way, in case anyone wasn't aware of our current situation, we have relocated back to Korea and Jeff and I are employed once more.  My parents have agreed to move to Korea to watch the children!  The transition is not yet complete because our household goods have not yet arrived, but once that all gets here and we get unpacked and settled, life will be pretty sweet.  Will hopefully catch up with everyone who are still here in Korea soon...
