Another Busy Week...Ending with the Nuremburg Volksfest

This week started off much slower because I think I was a little too motivated last week, so the girls and I spent a lot of time at home relaxing and enjoying each other...and driving each other crazy!  But they're so sweet sometimes...I like to capture moments like these:

This post will be photo-heavy once again, and very brief!

She loves my kisses...and I love kissing those squishy cheeks!

She also loves tasting everything!

She has also learned to pucker...I can't believe I got a picture of it!  It's usually so fleeting!

We enjoyed some kebabs this week.  Ri loves to de-construct her kebab...picking out the meat and ripping off pieces of the wrap.
Tay just inhales it like a champ.  So delicious.
Poor Rea just has to sit there and nom nom on her toes.  She seems to enjoy it, though.

I wanted to include this pic here...do you know what she's doing?  She's nursing her baby raccoon.  :)

Jeff stained the girls' playhouse this week.  Doesn't it look GREAT?  The girls absolutely love it...

Here's Rea modeling a Gator bow as college football kicked off...:)  I made it!

Here, I let her play with the pacifier she never took...she loves chewing on it and making silly faces...
Many of you said she looked like Popeye in this one!  ;)  hehehe...

Let me do a quick run-down of the food we made this week!

 Oatmeal Cream Pies!
 Homemade pizza!
 Jamaican Jerk Chicken!  (Homemade marinade...DELICIOUS)

AND...we had dinner guests on Thursday, and I cooked a Korean meal...but I was so frazzled that the only photo I got was of the lettuce I washed.  Grr...

My sleeping beauties...Ri occasionally falls asleep waiting for me while I put baby to sleep.

Hm...what I found when I came to check on Tay in the tub...she said, "I was trying to get rid of the bubbles because there was too many in the tub..."

Rea is really getting the hang of this "sitting up" thing, so she loves playing with her various toys in this new sitting position.

My girls...my loves.

Jeff cleaned out the murky pond this week, too!  Lots of backyard improvements going on around here.

The pond looks absolutely amazing now and the fish are beautiful!  Tay has named about half the fish...The Queen, The King, The Prince, Circle-y, Orange-y, and Tiger.

Baby girl is growing so fast these days that I pulled out some of Tay and Ri's old 9-12 month old clothes.  I saw this cute little dress, so I tried it on her...her first official hand-me-down dress!

We spent Saturday evening at the Nuremburg Volksfest!  It was so much fun!  The girls absolutely loved the event.  Fun times...
They went on many many rides...
Even a scary haunted house ride...with Jeff!  Brave souls...
This cute little band was singing and playing fun American songs!
This ride was called "Skyline 360" and it went all the way to the top as it rotated around in a circle...very slowly.  We didn't go up in it, but it was a neat-looking ride.
The girls LOVED their pony rides!  :)
Another ride...on this ride, they kept looking at the different Disney characters around the ride, so all my photos were of the back of their heads!
This was another very popular ride with the girls...Jeff had to take Ri on the ride, though, because she was too little to go on her own.

Now...this ride...OMG...crazy scary to watch...I can't believe BOTH girls went on this ride (Ri rode with Jeff, of course)!

 We just watched.  Phew...
And of course...the girls loved the trampolines!
 Oh yeah...Pink Power!  :)

And last, but not least...I ended my Sunday night by finally making my first batch of kimchi!

We'll see how it tastes in a few days...after it ferments a bit.

OH!  And Rea got her FIRST TOOTH!  :)  Bottom left front tooth...she keeps twisting her tongue to feel it...it's adorable.

It's late.  Good night!
